Bosch battery does not charge or turn on

How to fix it, step by step

  1. Unplug the charger and try a different outlet (the most common cause is an outlet with no power).
  2. Check that the charger cable is firmly seated at both ends: at the charger and at the bike's charging port.
  3. Check the charger LED. If it does not light up even with another outlet, the charger is failing.
  4. If you are traveling with another Bicigrino rider, try their charger for 10 minutes. If your bike charges with their charger, your charger is the problem.
  5. IMPORTANT: the Bicigrino bike battery is sealed to the frame. Do NOT try to open it, remove it with tools, or tamper with the terminals — there is a risk of fire and of breaking the rental seal.
  6. If it still will not charge after these steps, contact Bicigrino 24/7 Support immediately. If the display shows an error code, write it down before calling.
