Manual Camino de Santiago bike route planner
Bicigrino’s manual planner lets you build your own Camino de Santiago by bike stage by stage, without being tied to a fixed plan. You pick the start and the finish, decide how many kilometres you want to ride each day, and the tool splits the route into days matched to your fitness and your type of bike, whether that is a mountain bike, gravel or an e-bike. It is the option for the cycle tourist who already knows how they want to ride the Camino and needs to tune every section.
What you can do
- Choose start and finish from the towns along the Camino Francés and the Portuguese Coastal.
- Adjust the kilometres of each stage and spread the days at your own pace.
- Add your own stops: accommodation, bike shops, fountains or points of interest.
- Check the elevation profile and the surface type of each day.
- Download the GPX tracks and navigate offline from your phone.
- Save your plan and sync it across devices.
How it works
You mark your stops on the map, the app calculates the real route along roads and trails with surface and elevation data, and shows each stage with its kilometres, elevation and nearby services. You can redo a section, move a stop or change the number of days as many times as you like until you land on the Camino you were after. Once it is ready, you save it and carry it in your pocket, with GPS navigation that works without coverage. If you would rather start from a route that is already built, there are the official plans for the Camino Francés and the Portuguese Coastal.
