It is roughly 639 km, comfortably covered in 11 stages by bike. It is a more oceanic and less crowded route than the Camino Francés, with gentle elevation and milder summer temperatures.

What this plan includes

Every stage comes with distance, cumulative elevation, elevation profile, surface type (around 14% cobbles through the historic coastal towns, especially between Porto and Caminha), the location of bike shops, accommodation and technical notes specific to riders on a loaded bike or an e-bike.

Shorter variant from Porto

If you have fewer days, Bicigrino also offers a shorter 5-stage plan from Porto to Santiago, ideal for cycle tourists who want to earn the Compostela with a 250 km margin.
